Rotten Apples
Rotten Apples is a political illustration that metaphorically represents the housing crisis. It shows how people are forced out of their homes and are left nowhere to go. Using black ink and pen, the illustration creates a sad mood and a visual interest towards an issue that affects many individuals who face homelessness.
Results
Through imagery and symbolism, the illustrations sparks conversation. It evokes societal action and awareness of a nationwide issue. It also motivates the viewer to address the causes of homelessness and support the needs of those who are affected by it.
